Thanksgiving Weekend

This weekend was perfect. We did practically nothing and it was amazing.

We spent the holiday with my family and then the rest of the weekend we were just home – soaking up the lights on our new Christmas tree and breathing in the calm before the storm of the approaching holiday.

Honestly, I feel like I just took this last week off. I didn’t keep up with cleaning the house, I didn’t do laundry until Friday, and I didn’t pick up my camera or even think about this little blog. Like I said, perfect.

I did take a couple pictures on my iPhone so we’ll call this post a “Life Lately” and give you a recap of the little portions of this weekend that were documented.

This was actually last weekend but this weekend looked very similar to this. We were watching Dancing with the Stars before bed.

On Tuesday we got together with our friend group in Wichita and had Friendsgiving. The food was amazing but the wassail was to die for. The company was pretty great too..

On Thursday evening, after we feasted, Maddie and I braved the crowds and took advantage of the 50% off at Old Navy. It was my first “Black Friday/Gray Thursday” adventure and I’m glad I got to do it with her. I can’t say that I’ll be doing it again next year though. Talk about o.ver.whelm.ing.

And lastly, this strawberry. Well, all the strawberries that I bought at Dillons on Friday. So good – for whatever reason they just melt in your mouth. I love fresh fruit and I especially love it after a big big meal the day before.

So that’s it! That’s the only documentation I have of this last week. I promise I’ll do better the rest of December!

Happy December! (My birthday month and CHRISTMAS!!) Yay!

Love, The Jaderstons
