Well since we returned from our honeymoon life started moving really quickly. I’m hoping it will slow down, but with school starting for the husb and me ACCEPTING A JOB time has just flown by. I hope the blog doesn’t get neglected during Mike and I’s time of transition. I’ll be honest and tell you that I love being able to get on here and write but the posts will probably slow down. (I say this like they were coming really quickly before… huh?)
Anyways – I GOT A JOB! It’s at a company in town and so far it’s been good. I am doing data entry in a chemistry lab – say what? I spend a lot of my day on a computer and right now I spend more time than I’d like to just trying to catch up on what I still have to learn. It’s a lot of work – and it’s boring work – but it’s a job. Waking up everyday at 7:15 has been ROUGH and I come home from work so unbelievably tired. I never thought it would be so difficult working everyday. I’m also only four days in so I can be hopeful that it will get better, easier, and more enjoyable. This job came with perfect timing and the Lord definitely has His hand on it all. I’m grateful to be working even though it’s hard and emotionally draining but I also know that this job is not my forever and it too shall pass. Reminding myself of these things is getting me through – that and my faithful and persistent husband who reminds me of God’s timing and plan every evening as I am mid breakdown. He deserves a big BEST HUSBAND award for getting through this week with me.
In other news, Sterling is starting to feel a little bit more like home. We bought bikes (more on this later) and ride them EVERYWHERE. It is so convenient that we can ride wherever we need in town and it takes no time at all. After work we’ll ride to the lake or ride to Subway to get dinner. It’s been so much fun. Youth group also started up last night so my intern husband will be busy with that and school while I work. Needless to say – lots is happening here in the Jaderston household.
I’m off to go work on some more thank you notes.
Sorry for no pictures this post – i’ll be sure to be picture heavy the next few posts because I know that’s why you’re really here.
See you soon!
