Last week, Mike and I had the wonderful privilege of tagging along with my parents to one of the greatest places on earth: Allen Fieldhouse
It was Mike’s first KU game and it was a big game – Iowa State. The place was packed (like always).
There is something incredibly special about this gym. I of course get happy feelings when I’m there because it’s my alma mater – but even Mike (who has no connection to KU besides me) got all sorts of happy feelings too!
How did I get so lucky? Thanks Mom and Dad for dragging us along!

LOVE that you got to go to the game…especially to see the Hawks beat Iowa State! I’m so sad I’m not gonna make it back to Lawrence for a game this year…but here’s to hoping I can catch a game sometime during March Madness…preferably toward the end! 🙂 ROCK CHALK!
