I am sick with a cold.
It was inevitable in my mind for this day to come. I started a new job, filled my life with changes, and if you only knew the craziness that was ahead this summer… It’s like clockwork. I get stressed or make big changes and a few weeks later I get sick.
So today, on memorial day, I am especially thankful to the men and women who’ve given up their lives to protect our nation but I’m also thankful for a day off. A day to lay in bed with my pup and to allow my body to recover.

Thank you! I can say that after a full day of work today I am ready for my bed until tomorrow morning 😉 Being sick FORCES me to slow down and God knows that sometimes that’s exactly what I need 🙂
