It’s been awhile since I talked about our trim painting process on the blog – probably because I haven’t done any painting since the doorknobs. Well, last week I got a strange surge of motivation and started tackling our living room! I’m happy to report that the living room is COMPLETE and I’m hoping that more progress on the main floor will be made this week (the 9 doorways are intimidating me).

The quality of these images is poor, but the panoramic shot on the iPhone is so convenient when painting.

I love it! I really can’t explain how much of a difference the white trim makes. It’s amazing! It makes the room feel brighter and brand new! What do you think? I can’t wait for the rest of the trim to be painted – but that means doors too and doors take T I M E.
