Is it really July 1st? Mike and I celebrate our 1 year anniversary in just 6 short days. Also, this little blog turns one this week. It’s a big week in the Jaderston household.
I’m still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that it’s now July and that summer is halfway over. I have to go back to work in a month – which makes me feel really sad right now, but I know I’ll be ready when it’s here.
Last week we got to visit this gem at camp. She was excited to see us and we were just as excited to be there and get a day at the Woods. Unfortunately it was 407 degrees that day so there was a lot of miserable sweating and enjoyable cooling off in the AC. It was great to see her and the staff again.
We also started a routine with Alfred where he sleeps off the bed during the night and then after he goes out in the morning he gets in the bed with us and snuggles with me for about 30 more minutes before I get up. It may or may not be a favorite part to my day. You can decide.
We opened up our ice cream maker we got from the wedding – a year ago. It’s in the freezer still waiting to have ice cream made in it. But it’s a goal for this week and I’m hopeful.
The biggest news though is that I started editing the photos I took at Kalynn & Samuels wedding. Expect a 2-3 post spread of photos in the next week. I also decided that Kalynn made a STUNNING bride.
We don’t have a ton going on but we’re staying busy. Northern Pines is in three weeks and we have another Jr. High camp to attend before that. Mike is fighting a sickness right now (we’re pretty sure it’s strep throat) and we’re watching an excessive amount of Grey’s Anatomy. I’m not sure how it happened, but somehow through me re-watching the series Mike got hooked.
Summertime is so fun.
Happy Monday! Oh and Happy July!
Be back soon,
