Hello again!

Business at the front: I switched blog hosts while we were at Pines (nothing like adding a little chaos to our already chaotic life) and I lost a couple posts. Womp. Stay tuned for a twenty days recap that will cover the two posts that have gone missing.

Now for the fun…

Dwayne took his first swim over the fourth of July weekend with his dad. General review? He didn’t love it. The water was really cold though so we’re holding out for round two.

He also got some quality time with his aunt Maddie, which never seems like enough.

We love his little headphone ear protectors.

Mike and I celebrated our 4th anniversary (WHAT?) with snuggles on the couch and the new Star Wars movie. Confession: Before that day, I had never seen a Star Wars movie that I could remember. Mike was ashamed and our relationship is in a much better place now. We spent our actual anniversary playing board games and enjoying ice cream (when I could still enjoy that dairy) with the fam.

We made our first overnight to the Woods and it was so fun having Dwayne with us this time around. So many memories at this place and essentially the foundation of our relationship was built here so it felt full circle bringing the baby with us. Feeling all the feels.
