There are so many fun things that come with being a youth pastors wife. THIS – is definitely one of them.
My husband has the best job. I’m so proud of him and the work he does for the church.

Happy Weekend! We’re spending time with family from out-of-town and of course enjoying some good basketball.
Oops, I did it again! I got the white paint bug and dove right in on Sunday afternoon. Our 2nd bedroom on the main floor, our laundry room, and our master closet are the only spots left in this house with brown wood. On Sunday I tackled the closet in the 2nd bedroom. I am not sure I am ready to tackle the rest of the rooms trim with all the junk and furniture in there, but slowly but surely I am getting things organized. More about that on Friday!
I really love these progression shots. Honestly, they make me feel so productive! It’s fun to see how much the room changes. Now, if I could just finish the doors and get all the junk sorted through and stored I would feel even better. And then maybe if the furniture wasn’t covered with stuff I would feel motivated to move it away from the walls and actually paint the trim… I have high hopes for white trim office in 2015.
Do you love the white trim as much as we do? I feel like it’s the biggest change we’ve made to our home!

Played a new board game that Mike got for his birthday
Watched basketball with family
Enjoyed a yummy french toast surprise
Saw old/new friends from Atlanta
Relaxed on the couch and watched Friends
Painted more things white (more on this later)

So we did a lot of celebrating and a lot of relaxing
Maybe the theme for our year should just switch back to celebrate? Adventure isn’t happening quite yet.
